Build Your Pathway To Prosperity

Secrets Of Abundance And Prosperity

Planning a pathway to prosperity is necessary for those of us wanting more money. Financial freedom will never just land in our laps. Building your pathway to prosperity starts with building awareness of your relationship with money. This forms the foundation of the prosperity mind set, the secret of the millionaire mind.

In her book Money Magic: Unleashing Your True Potential for Prosperity and Fulfillment, Deborah L. Price talks of the importance of examining your relationship with money if you want to learn how to achieve financial freedom:

"Those clients who are willing to explore their inner relationship with money are much more likely to reach their financial goals. They have an easier time making financial decisions and are more successful at manifesting money and realizing their dreams. Clearly there is a direct connection between having a healthier, more conscious relationship with money and creating prosperity."

Step One On The Pathway To Prosperity: Getting Real About Your Relationship With Money

pathway to prosperity Any journey requires moving from point A to point B. When it comes to money it's not difficult to identify point B, (you want to be prosperous and rich.) The harder part is identifying point A; where you are right now. Yet if you don't know where you are, how can you possibly get to where you want to be? To find the place you want to be on a map requires first identifying where you are. If you can't find where you are, the whole map, the desire to make the journey, is useless.

Writing Your Money Biography

A simple exercise like writing your money biography will start the process of inner transformation. This is because denial, where you live when you refuse to look at reality, is an energy drain. Just by taking one small step like this gets your energy towards money moving again and makes you feel great. To do this exercise, buy yourself a journal so you can start documenting your history with money. Write your history by hand, not on the computer as typing limits your creative flow. Be detailed, factual and raw. Don't dress up the details with any hype or interpretation. Just list the facts. Don't judge what you write. Before you begin this exercise be warned that it might feel challenging.

Also be warned that if you do feel challenged, this is GREAT! Just keep writing. The fact that it is challenging is just a defense on your ego's part. It likes to balk at any of your attempts to grow and change. The ego hates the unknown! That is why turning towards the things that are painful is so rewarding. It inevitably leads to change.

Answer all the questions below that will help you to get a better sense of how you relate to money and why you relate to it the way you do.

  • What is missing in your relationship with money?

Remember: don't shy away from the questions that are uncomfortable.
