The Prosperity Mind Set

One Of The Easiest Ways To Become Rich

One of the most important steps to developing the prosperity mind set is learning to think about money in a more profound way. Here are three illuminating ideas about money that have the power to help you generate the prosperity mind set; the secret to wealth and abundance.

1. Learn to think of money as energy

The energy money brings to its relationship with you will be a perfect reflection of your most deeply held beliefs on prosperity and abundance.

Human beings are at once magnets and power sources of energy. How you interact with money really starts with the energy you radiate out. The key question then isn't "how do I make more money?" but "what energy am I putting out about money?"

A lack of money is typically associated with thoughts of scarcity. These cause you to unconsciously behave in ways that perpetuates scarcity. For example, did you pursue a career that promised money or one that allowed expression of your interests and desires? Choosing a career guided purely by financial goals instead of passion is an act of scarcity, not abundance.

Why do you want more money? Do you desire it so you can express yourself more and add to the lives of others or is it so you can hoard it and increase your sense of security? Different motivations bring different energy to your relationship with money and affect your ability to manifest more of it. To cultivate the prosperity mind set, ensure the energy you give to money is positive.

2. The amount of money you receive in life is in exact proportion to the value you provide to the world

Value is the criteria we all use for money exchange. If you're not attracting enough money it's simply because you haven't yet learned how to create the right amount of value or benefit for others from your actions. prosperity mind

So how do you create greater benefit for others? According to the Universal Law of Compensation, the benefit/value you provide is determined by three things:

  1. the need that exists for what you do
  2. your ability to do the thing you do
  3. the difficulty it takes to replace you

Talking about the Law of Compensation, Bob Proctor suggests focusing on point #2: improving your ability to do what you do. When you focus on point #2, points #1 and #3 naturally take care of themselves. By improving your ability to do what you do you will be cultivating the prosperity mind set. People will naturally want to pay you more in exchange for your skills and talents.

3. Money is designed to be circulated - learn to give more away

"Give and you shall receive" is one of the most well-known tenets of Christianity. Most religious traditions and many modern day spiritual thinkers stress the importance of giving away what you most desire in order to attract it back into your life multiplied.

"The wise man does not lay up his own treasures. The more he gives to others, the more he has for his own" -Lao Tzu

"We must give more in order to get more. It is the generous giving of ourselves that produces the generous harvest" -Orison Swett Marden

"The best way to ensure an ongoing flow of abundance into your life is to share with others the wealth you receive" -Jack Canfield

"Whatever it is that you wish to experience more of in your life, be the source of it in the life of another" -Neale Donald Walsch

When you are generous, you truly embody the prosperity mind set that will lead you to even more wealth and prosperity. You assume a leadership role in your community and the lives of those around you. Every act of generosity is an affirmation that you support creation and the future. You are an enabler for progress and other people's self expression. Assuming this role and position ensures you attract even more money than you give.
